Manufacturing Process of Tencel fabric
Raw Material sourcing
The wood pulp primarily sourced from fast growing eucalyptus trees grown in forests. These trees grow fast and use less water
Wood Pulp
After removing the bark, the logs are chopped into small pieces and treated with non-toxic solvents to obtain pure cellulose.
Loop Based Production
Closed loop is 99% of the solvent and water used in this step is recovered and making process is highly sustainable
Fiber Spinning
The solution is pushed through fine spinnerets,These threads move through air and water this process is called dry jet-wet spinning
Washing and drying
The fibers are washed to remove any chemicals and then dried
Dyeing and Finishing
The dyeing process is very eco-friendly dyes and finished to enhance softness , durability
